Most people, when in the process of choosing their college courses, don’t seem to take into consideration that it would be their ticket to work jobs. Yes, getting a degree that you actually like and want to work for is important. Admittedly though, there are other things that you also have to consider when looking for a course to get into and among that is the tuition fees and the possibility of work afterwards.
But when choosing a course or helping your family member or daughter/son to choose one, it’s important to ask them first and foremost which industry they are interested to get into. At least this would help narrow down their choices. Once that has been settled, you can ask them what specific job they would want to have under the said industry.
Now that you have the industry and the job itself, it would be important to also consider how in demand that job is at the market today. That would help settle the practicality of your choice.
